A response to a brief set by YCN and Whistles regarding the launch of the clothing brand’s first foray into the world of fragrance. My ideas are primarily centred around the black and white colour scheme that is prominent in Whistles signage within their stores as well as the clean, crisp image of their online presence. The pair of fragrances (X and V; TEN and FIVE) are named so due to their smelling notes as well as being a tongue-in-cheek nod to the year of their hypothetical launch, 2015. The bottles photographed were designed using Google Sketch Up and printed in black and white polyamide, though only prototypes, this allows a better gauge of how the two bottles would sit alongside one another rather than relying solely on computer visuals. I then mocked-up how the launch could be spread over other toiletry products.
